Graham DeLaet posted a 3-under-par 34-33=67 in his second round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
The Canadian opened with a bogey-free 67 but went just 3-for-18 in birdie chances. In today's loop of TPC Four Seasons, he landed 13 greens in regulation but converted seven birdies, five of which from outside 11 feet. The most notable of the lot measured 22'2" at the 13th hole and 24'5" at No. 6. DeLaet also swallowed four bogeys, two as a result of three-putts, so as much as he was enjoying his round, he was grinding just the same. He's 6-under 134 at the midpoint, two strokes off the pace of the 36-hole clubhouse co-leaders but the overnight lead will eventually be much lower.
