Swafford starts the BMW with nine birdies

Hudson Swafford enjoyed a bogey-free, 9-under-par 30-33=63 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in his opening round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am on the Web.com Tour.
He settled for a T27 in his title defense of the Stadion Classic at UGA two weeks ago, but got right back on the horse today. Swafford missed just one fairway (of 14) and only one green in regulation. He birdied all four par 5s and secured a spot atop the overnight leaderboard (in relation to par) with three others.
