Zack Miller rides two eagles to BMW co-lead
May 16, 2013 - 5:50 PM ET

Zack Miller blitzed Thornblade Club for two eagles and five birdies en route to a bogey-free, 9-under-par 32-30=62 in his opening round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am on the Web.com Tour.

Yes, he's the same Zack Miller that signed for a 92 after his second round of last year's Mayakoba Golf Classic on the PGA TOUR. Now relegated to the secondary circuit, he's 2-for-5 on the 2013 season but hasn't finished better than a T60 in Brazil. Thornblade has five par 3s, two of which he birdied today, and he played the set of four par 5s in 5-under. He's one of four to share the overnight lead in relation to par. The tournament is contested over three tracks; the other two are par 72s.
