Ted Potter, Jr. turned in a bogey-free, 6-under-par 30-34=64 for his opening round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
Since a share of 10th place at the Northern Trust Open, the lefty has gone virtually silent, missing five of seven cuts and logging no better than a T32 at Quail Hollow. Today at TPC Four Seasons, he went 6-for-16 in birdie opportunities. All of today's conversions found the cup from inside 10 feet. Potter, Jr. is four strokes off the clubhouse lead.
