Estes (illness) withdraws from Byron Nelson

Bob Estes has been removed from the published field of this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.
Estes intimated that this was imminent in a response to a follower on Twitter on Monday night. When asked if he was playing, he wrote: "Still sick. About to WD from the Nelson. Hoping to play the Open Champ. qualifier Monday & Colonial." He had pulled out of THE PLAYERS at the last minute due to his health. The veteran has a suspect record at TPC Four Seasons anyway, so gamers won't miss him.
