Red Sox unlikely to go after Shin-Soo Choo

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe thinks it's a "long shot" that the Red Sox would trade for Shin-Soo Choo.
FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi reported Thursday that the Sox were interested in the Indians outfielder, but Cafardo doesn't see it happening due to the fact that Choo is a year away from free agency and has Scott Boras as his agent. Cafardo believes Boston "may have to know that they could sign him long-term" for them to consider a trade. Choo is expected to be dealt somewhere eventually, whether it be this winter or at the July trade deadline.
