The Hanwha Eagles have accepted a winning bid of $25,737,737.33 for the right to negotiate with Koren left-hander Ryu Hyun-Jin.

The Cubs and Rangers are known to have submitted bids, but the identity of the winner has yet to be confirmed. They'll now have 30 days to negotiate a contract with the Hyun-Jin and his super-agent Scott Boras. Hyun-Jin owns a 98-52 record, 2.80 ERA and 1238/383 K/BB ratio over seven seasons in the KBO (Korea's top professional league).
