
The Reds are known to be in the market for a closer have have expressed interest in Ryan Madson, Jonathan Broxton and Joakim Soria.
The intent of the move would be shifting Aroldis Chapman into the rotation for the 2013 season. Broxton performed well for the Reds after coming over in a mid-season deal, posting a 20/3 K/BB ratio and converting four save chances in 22 1/3 innings of work. Madson, who signed a one-year deal with the Reds during the 2012 offseason, missed the entire year after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
