Fast start jumps Grace up PLAYERS leaderboard

Branden Grace circled birdies on six of his first 11 holes in the third round of THE PLAYERS en route to a 5-under-par 31-36=67.
Grace opened with birdies on each of his first three holes, then took it deeper with birdies on seven, nine and 11. His only dropped shot was on the par-3 13th, resulting from an approach that flew the green and failing to save par. His best chance to get that shot back came at the short, but watery, par-5 16th. When he missed the fairway off the tee, he lost the opportunity to go for the green in two and settled for par. He heads to the final round at 5-under 211.
