Red Sox disinclined to trade Jacoby Ellsbury
Jacoby Ellsbury - OF - Boston Red Sox
Nov. 7, 2012 - 3:35 PM ET

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Red Sox are "currently disinclined" to trade Jacoby Ellsbury.

Many have speculated that Ellsbury could be on the trade block this offseason since he is due to hit free agency after the 2013 season and is represented by Scott Boras, but the Red Sox are reluctant to deal him with his value low. Ellsbury was limited to just 74 games this season due to a shoulder injury and batted just .271/.313/.370 with four homers and a .682 OPS. The thought is that he'll be highly motivated in his walk year.
