Chalmers makes quick work of TPC Sawgrass

Greg Chalmers posted a 4-under-par 35-33=68 in his opening round of THE PLAYERS, finishing five strokes off the clubhouse lead.
The lefty split 11 (of 14) fairways and hit 15 greens at TPC Sawgrass today. He opened with a bogey-5 at the 10th hole, but played out the string in bogey-free 5-under. His most notable par breaker disappeared from 38'8" at the par-4 first hole, but his longest conversion was an inch longer and for par at the par-4 sixth where he got up and down from a greenside bunker.
