McIlroy bogey-free; three back @ TPC Sawgrass

Rory McIlroy crafted a bogey-free, 6-under-par 31-35=66 in his opening round of THE PLAYERS, finishing three strokes adrift of the clubhouse lead.
McIlroy is 0-for-3 at TPC Sawgrass, but that the 24-year-old is making his fourth appearance already is impressive. He hit 15 greens at TPC Sawgrass today and rolled in six birdies. His longest conversion measured 14'5" at the 16th hole. It was one of five on his opening nine (holes 10-18).
