Furyk a stalwart @ past PLAYERS championships

Jim Furyk has done his share of damage at THE PLAYERS, returning in 2013 with his sights firmly set on picking up his first win at TPC Sawgrass.
Furyk has seen the weekend on 14 of his previous 17 occasions, with a T3 in 2006 his best effort. While it wouldn't surprise anyone if he peeked his head onto the leaderboard at some point this week, his penchant for choking down the stretch in 2012 wouldn't play well on the 17th and 18th holes this week. Watery graves lurk around most corners.
