Byrd remains committed to return at Redstone

Jonathan Byrd is listed in the published field of next week's Shell Houston Open.
When Byrd didn't appear in the field for the Tampa Bay Championship, he promptly alerted his followers on Twitter that he modified his plan to return to competition in Houston. He hasn't played anywhere since the second phase of the 2012 FedExCup Playoffs, and then had surgery on his left wrist on Oct. 29. While he's posted two top 20s in three starts at Redstone's Tournament Course, give him a week (at least) to shed the rust before you begin leaning on him for fantasy support.
