Brandon Weeden insists he hasn't lost faith in rookie WR Josh Gordon despite back-to-back rough preseason performances.
Gordon has been drop prone and struggled mightily to get open, but Weeden believes he could still make an impact as a rookie. "I trust Josh and I'm not going to work the other side of the field just because it's him and the same thing happened the week before. I can't do that," Weeden said. "He's going to be out there. He's got way too many tools, and he's way too good of a player to not be on the field." Weeden is showing deft political touch for a rookie, but Gordon has looked raw enough that it's doubtful he'll be a big part of early-season gameplans. He's currently off the redraft radar.
