Jordan Spieth didn't win the Tampa Bay Championship but his final-round of 1-under-par 34-36=70 allowed him to finish inside the top 10 and earn Special Temporary Membership on the PGA TOUR for the remainder of the 2013 season.
Spieth made four birdies and three bogeys in a rather bizarre final round on the Copperhead Course, finishing his week at 5-under 279. His round included short misses for birdie and par, but a dramatic 16-yard hole-out for birdie on the par-3 17th and a seven-foot par on the 18th to finish off his round. He needed $101,295 entering this week to qualify for Special Temporary Membership, which was achievable with at worst a two-way T14. While he already had sponsor exemptions into Houston, Valero and the Byron Nelson, he's now allowed unlimited sponsor exemptions and starts.
