Alcides Escobar delivered a two-out RBI single in the 11th inning on Thursday, giving the Royals a walk-off 7-6 victory over the Indians.
He finished the night 2-for-6 with a run scored, RBI and a stolen base. Chris Perez was brought into the game to face him with runners on second and third, and Escobar greeted him with a line single into left field to end the festivities. The 25-year-old shortstop has really developed into an offensive weapon this season, hitting .307 with four homers, 37 RBI and 19 stolen bases.
