Per McCormick, the Titans’ 18-minute talk with Ward at the NFL Scouting Combine proved to be “the big turning point” in the Titans’ evaluation process. The discussion prompted Titans brass to schedule Ward’s top-30 visit, in which Ward reportedly “wowed” attendees with his “alpha personality, astute knowledge of the game and his detailed understanding of the QB position.” The team then sent an “arsenal” of coaches, evaluators and media members to Ward’s Pro Day, which was followed days later by a private workout attended by “reclusive” owner Amy Adams Strunk. Ward is now “on track” to be drafted No. 1 overall and seemingly having “won the entire Titans organization over” during the pre-draft process.

On Saturday, Prescott declared that he “could play today” if he had to, now four months removed from hamstring surgery. Monday’s workouts should provide clarity as to the comment’s veracity. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer could have begun voluntary workouts last week, an opportunity shared by all first-year head coaches, but Schotty instead chose to delay the process. Doing so, perhaps, to provide his quarterback with an extra week of prep time—or, maybe, it was to give the front office one last chance to sign Micah Parsons to a record-setting megadeal before team activities begin. McMillan is one of the top receivers in this year’s draft and will have visits with three teams in need of wide receiver help. After failing to improve its receiver room last season, the Patriots could lean on McMillan as Drake Maye’s new WR1, while the Arizona product would also provide a boost to the Cowboys’ and Saints’ receiver rooms playing opposite CeeDee Lamb or Chris Olave. McMillan also has a previously reported visit scheduled with the Panthers, which was reported late last month. McMillan caught 84 passes for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns last season on his way to earning First-Team All-American honors.

The Saints listed the right-armed Carr with a left-hand injury late in Weeks 15-18 but made no mention of a throwing-shoulder issue. There seems to be more to this story. Carr has not yet decided whether he will undergo surgery but, regardless, it seems clear that the Saints must select a quarterback early in the 2025 NFL Draft at this point.

Flacco will get a chance to earn “up to” $13 million this year with incentives. Entering his age-40 season, Flacco probably is more of a fallback than an actual plan for the Browns at this point. He started six games for the Colts last year and finished with 1761 yards, 12 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing 65.3 percent of his passes. Flacco might have enough in the tank — especially back in Kevin Stefanski’s offense — to beat out Kenny Pickett in training camp if the Browns exit the draft without adding another veteran or highly-drafted rookie.

Carter had his medical recheck in Indianapolis on Thursday after a stress reaction in his right foot was discovered during the NFL Scouting Combine in February. “It should be a non-factor with the teams at this point,” agent Drew Rosenhaus said. Carter is expected to arrive in New Jersey on Thursday evening where he will have dinner with the Giants, before his top-30 visit with the team on Friday, per the MMQB’s Albert Breer.

Murray said he’s now fully recovered from his 2022 ACL injury, adding that he “felt something” in his surgically repaired knee early in the 2024 season. He had just two designed rush attempts of more than 15 yards. “I don’t want to get too scheme based, but I do feel like I have to run more next year,” Murray said in a recent interview. “I’m open to running more next year, just because it’s such a weapon, you know, it’s such a weapon. ... I think where we get better is making things happen outside the pocket. When plays break down, we need to be better there.” Murray last season had 572 yards and five touchdowns on 78 rushing attempts. He logged 4.6 rushes per game, way short of his career high of 8.4 rushing attempts per game in 2020, when he finished with 819 yards and 11 scores on the ground. A boost in rushing attempts could make Murray an every-week starter in 12-team fantasy formats.

The explosive Overshown underwent surgery after a serious knee injury ended his 2024 season in early December. The versatile linebacker has a chance to return to the Dallas lineup sometime around midseason, which will be a needed boost for the Cowboys defense. Before suffering the knee injury, Overshown had 84 tackles, five sacks, one interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, eight tackles for loss and one defensive touchdown in 2024.

Golden has visited with several teams in the lead up to the 2025 draft, where he could be the first receiver off the board. Golden has held pre-draft meetings with the Cowboys, the Bucs, and the Steelers. Green Bay is still looking for an unquestioned WR1 after none of their four main wideouts stepped in 2024. Golden is similar size and has similar speed to Jayden Reed, though Reed’s after the catch production was far superior coming into the league. The Packers could be among a handful of teams jockeying on draft night to land Golden, 21, as his draft stock steadily rises.
