G-Mac ties personal best at Doral; co-leads

Graeme McDowell enjoyed a bogey-free, 6-under-par 33-33=66 in his opening round of the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, good for a share of the clubhouse lead.
G-Mac went 4-for-4 in scrambling amid burying six birdies to match a career-best round at TPC Blue Monster at Trump Doral (final round, 2010). McDowell hadn't broken 70 in his opener in all five previous appearances either. Four of his birdies today disappeared from beyond 10 feet, the longest of which measuring 29'4" at the 14th hole.
