Hanson goes 9-for-9 in scrambling to open WGC
March 7, 2013 - 5:25 PM ET

Peter Hanson crafted a bogey-free, 5-under-par 34-33=67 in his opening round of the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship.

The Swede converted an eagle and three birdies at TPC Blue Monster at Trump Doral today. His longest par breaker was a birdie from 38'5" at the third hole. However, more impressive is that he got up and down all nine times. His most notable par saves measured 19'4" at 11 and 16'11" at 16. He signed his card sitting one stroke back of the clubhouse co-leaders.
