Golden, who NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport believes is “in the mix” to be the first receiver off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft, is slated to speak with Tampa coaches and front office officials as the Bucs consider how to approach the 19th pick in the draft. Golden, 21, went for 987 receiving yards and nine touchdowns last year at Texas as a downfield dominator. Golden caught seven of 13 deep ball targets for 248 yards and three touchdowns in 2024. He would be a nice complement to Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, and would likely play ahead of Jalen McMillan.

Judkins’ visit with the Bengals comes after a recent meeting with the Texans ahead of the 2025 draft. He’s also slated to meet with the Broncos. The explosive Judkins racked up nearly 4,000 rushing yards and 45 rushing scores over three collegiate seasons, the final two with Ohio State. He added another five touchdowns on 59 career receptions at Ohio State and Ole Miss. There are some major holes in Judkins’ profile: In 2024 he finished 170th out of 190 qualifying running backs in rush yards after contact per carry and his yards per route run ranked 79th. He could complicate things for Chase Brown if the Bengals take him in the draft. Cincinnati holds the 17th and 49th picks in the draft’s first two rounds.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The former No. 1 overall pick from the 2022 NFL Draft has totaled 10 or more sacks in each of his last two seasons and has 24 sacks to his name overall. Walker has shown continued development as a premier pass rusher in the league and has ranked 22nd or higher amongst EDGE rushers in quarterback pressures in 2023 and 2024, per PFF. He’ll now be under contract through the 2026 season, but it wouldn’t be surprising if we saw him sign a long-term extension before entering his contract year.

Those holding dynasty stock in Tyrone Tracy may want to look away. The second-year back was taken in the fifth round of last year’s draft and didn’t take long to cement himself as the Giants’ top back, finishing the year with a 25 percent opportunity share while leading all Giants backs with 246 opportunities. Running back Devin Singletary remains on the team after signing a three-year, $16.5 million contract last season, but he’s not expected to make much of an impact next season. Ideally, any interest the Giants may have in a rookie running back will be as added depth behind Tracy, but he will be 27 when his rookie contract expires. Adding a talented back who is several years younger could make a lot of sense in the long term.

The Raiders won’t be using the No. 6 overall pick on Ewers, but it’s easy to envision them using their No. 37 overall pick on the Texas product on Day 2 of the draft in hopes of developing him into a franchise QB in the coming years. Ewers was the No. 1 prospect in the nation when he enrolled at Ohio State in 2021 and moved on to Texas ahead of the 2022 season. In his three seasons with the Longhorns, Ewers threw for 9,128-68-24 while completing 64.9 percent of his passes. With Geno Smith already under contract for the next three seasons, Ewers would have plenty of time to sit and learn the pro game before taking the reins in his second or third season.

Rhamondre Stevenson has 154 career receptions to his name, while Antonio Gibson, who remains on the roster, has 195 catches of his own. That said, head coach Mike Vrabel said adding a “young runner is potentially something we would like to do” when asked about addressing the position in this year’s draft, and Reiss believes a pass-catching back could be the focus for offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. Stevenson struggled last season after signing a four-year, $36 million deal, and while he’s expected to be the lead back for 2025, it’s fair to say the 27-year-old back doesn’t look like the same player who totaled 1,461 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns in 2022. In a class that is rich with running back talent, a more explosive back who could provide more upside in the passing game could help an offense that’s hoping to improve on its 30th-ranked finish last season.

Jones finished his 13-year professional career with 914 receptions, 13,703 yards, and 66 touchdowns. He spent the first 10 years of his illustrious career with the Falcons before playing one year each with the Titans, Buccaneers, and Eagles, having gone over 1,000 yards receiving seven times while setting a career high in 2015 with 1,871 yards in a 16-game season. There aren’t many sure thing first-ballot Hall of Fame wide receivers in the present game, but Jones certainly did his part on the field to warrant significant consideration once eligible.

The hype has never fully materialized for Lance at the NFL level but the Chargers now take a low-cost gamble on the once promising quarterback. If nothing else, Lance offers an intriguing developmental option behind franchise quarterback Justin Herbert, with the potential for general manager Joe Hortiz to flip the investment down the road. Taylor Heinicke remains on the roster and is likely the preferred game day backup to Herbert once games begin to matter.

It’s not much, but at least it’s something. After skipping out on testing at the NFL Scouting Combine, Hunter was reportedly going to avoid all workouts at Colorado’s pro day, which is taking place on Friday. Now, one of the premiere talents in the draft class will put his route running on display for the scouts with quarterback Sheduer Sanders throwing at the event. How Hunter is deployed in the pros remains unknown, but the two-way star caught 153 passes for 1,979 yards and 20 touchdowns in his two seasons at Colorado and is viewed by some as the top receiving talent in the draft. He’s a virtual lock to go top five of this month’s draft and could go as high as No. 2 to the Browns if they prefer to pass on a quarterback.
