Percy co-leads in Puerto Rico after one round
March 7, 2013 - 5:35 PM ET

Cameron Percy thrashed Trump International Golf Club-Puerto Rico for nine birdies en route to a 7-under-par 32-33=65 in his opening round, good for a share of the clubhouse lead.

The 2012 Web.com Tour grad is 3-for-5 in his return to the PGA TOUR, but his best finish thus far is a T59 at the Sony Open. Just about everything clicked today. He birdied three of the four par 5s, four par 4s and a pair of par 3s. Percy also bogeyed the par-4 fourth and 10th holes.
