Open Championship adds three via IFQ-Africa

Justin Harding, Eduardo de la Riva and Darryn Lloyd survived International Final Qualifying at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington in Johannesburg, South Africa to earn berths into the Open Championship.

Harding, a native South African, cruised to medalist honoros at 14-under-par 66-64=130. He converted one eagle and 15 birdies to offset three bogeys. "I'm really looking forward to my first major," he said. "With Ernie Els defending it will be a special one, and I've heard that Muirfield is a phenomenal place, so everything feels perfect right now." de la Riva of Spain finished three strokes back at 11-under 67-66=133. He carded an eagle and 12 birdies against one bogey and a double. South Africa's Lloyd holed three eagles and eight birdies but swallowed five bogeys to post 9-under 66-69=135.
