David Lynn spun a 1-under-par 34-35=69 in the final round of The Honda Classic, securing the first top 10 of his rookie season at 3-under 277.
Keep in mind, the PGA TOUR rookie essentially earned his card with a runner-up to Rory McIlroy at the 2012 PGA Championship, so this isn't exactly a career week. He was under the radar with two holes to play, but drained a lengthy birdie putt on the par-3 17th and added a kick-in birdie on the par-5 18th to sneak inside the back door. He now heads to the WGC-Cadillac Championship with his sights set on big things.
