Geoff Ogilvy fought back to shoot an even-par 35-35=70 in the third round of The Honda Classic, joining Lee Westwood in the clubhouse lead at 6-under 204.
With three bogeys surrounding one birdie in his first four holes, the Aussie found himself in survival mode early and often. He responded with birdie on eight and nine to square his nine to level. He then scrambled for a birdie on the par-5 18th after being over the green in two to erase his only bogey of the back nine on the par-4 16th. It's been a poor year for Ogilvy, with four missed cuts in five starts before this week, but all will be forgotten if he closes the deal in Sunday's finale.
