The move is good news for Ben Obomanu and Deon Butler, who now have one less body to compete with. Although Williams' 2010 comeback made for an excellent story, he should draw limited interest in free agency. Williams' injury is a major long-term concern, and he struggled mightily to create separation from defensive backs before it.
