Rickie Fowler made an eagle on the par-5 18th to post a 1-under-par 35-34=69 in the third round of The Honda Classic, taking the clubhouse lead at 5-under 205.
Fowler stepped on the 17th tee 2-over on his round, with not much going his way. A tee shot to 2'9" on the 17th and an approach to 13'8" on the 18th changed everything. Making both of those putts means he is one of a select few golfers to find red figures on a windy day at PGA National. With the leaders still on the course, it will be worth watching where he winds up entering the final round.
