The player rep for unsigned second-round pick Janoris Jenkins denies that he's in a serious contract dispute with the Rams.
The sides are reportedly sparring over a pre-draft verbal agreement that Jenkins would hire a business manager of coach Jeff Fisher's choosing. "At no point before, during or after the (draft) was there ever any promise from us to the Rams that Janoris would hire a specific financial advisor," Jenkins' rep said. "Janoris is happy with his situation, happy with his coaches and is ready and focused on preparing for his first NFL training camp." There's clearly some holdup with Jenkins' contract, but it should be resolved before camp.
