Aaron Cook needed just 81 pitches to throw a two-hit shutout against the Mariners on Friday.
It was a great night for Cook, but the performance also says an awful lot about a Seattle offense that's looking worse by the day. Cook struck out just two tonight, but he didn't walk anyone and he got 16 outs on the ground. He has another easy assignment Wednesday against Oakland, so AL-only leaguers will probably want him active for that one.
