Aaron Hill hit for the cycle for the second time in the last 12 days, leading the Diamondbacks to a 9-3 win over the Brewers.
Hill became just the second player since 1900 to hit for multiple cycles in a single season (Babe Herman in 1931 being the other). He doubled in his first at-bat in the first inning, added a single in the third inning and a two-run homer in the fourth. He completed the cycle in his first attempt, with a triple off Livan Hernandez in the sixth inning. Hill finished the night 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base. He's now hitting .302 on the season with 11 homers, 38 RBI and seven steals, and has been one of the best all around second baseman in the game.
