Jason Day struggled with the putter in the quarterfinals of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship but came out on top of his match with Graeme McDowell 1 up.
The Aussie was solid with his ball-striking for the majority of the day, but needed McDowell to let him off the hook on several occasions due to his inability to hole short and mid-ranged putts. Even so, the 11th seed in the Jones Bracket has navigated his way through to the semifinals. He will face off with Matt Kuchar on Sunday morning with a spot in the finals on the line.
