A federal judge dismissed Broncos LB D.J. Williams' complaint filed against the NFL in an attempt to overturn his six-game suspension.
Facing the six-game ban for allegedly providing a "non-human specimen" in a drug test, Williams was bidding to have the suspension overturned before training camp. The eight-year veteran adopted Brewers slugger Ryan Braun's approach, alleging "chain-of-custody procedural errors" in the handling of his sample. The suspension is now expected to stand, potentially ending Williams' career in Denver.
