
Updating a previous item, Troy Tulowitzki will travel to Philadelphia on Monday to be examined for a possible sports hernia.
It was originally reported that Tulowitzki re-aggravated his left groin strain, but this has the potential to be a more serious injury. If a sports hernia is confirmed and surgery is required, the Denver Post's Patrick Saunders estimates that Tulowitzki would need 4-6 weeks before being cleared for baseball-related activities.
