Maldonado's HR leads Brewers to victory
Martin Maldonado - C - Milwaukee Brewers
June 16, 2012 - 12:35 AM ET

Martin Maldonado blasted a two-run home run in the ninth inning, breaking a tie and leading the Brewers to a 5-3 victory over the Twins.

Maldonado finished the game 2-for-4 with the crucial home run off Matt Capps. He's provided very solid and unexpected power production since being recalled from Triple-A, hitting .262 with four homers and 12 RBI in just 42 at-bats. While he won't continue at this unsustainable pace, he makes for a very intriguing option in deep two catcher leagues.
