Snedeker (rib) will not compete in Match Play

Brandt Snedeker will not compete in next week's World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, according to GolfChannel.com's Rex Hoggard.
Snedeker injured a rib muscle during the week of the Humana Challenge, and then suffered a setback last Thursday at Pebble Beach. He's awaiting for results from an X-ray on Monday in California. Sneds missed a month last summer due to a strained rib. He's expected to sit out 3-4 weeks as a result of this latest malady.
