Jerry Jones: CB Jenkins will not be traded
Mike Jenkins - DB - Dallas Cowboys
June 12, 2012 - 6:05 PM ET

Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones insisted Tuesday that disgruntled CB Mike Jenkins will not be traded this summer.

"We're not going to trade Jenkins," Jones said. "I'm excited about the fact that we've got this kind of corner situation. We'll maximize it for our team and it gives us all the things we want at a position that's critical for us." Apparently going all-in this season, the Cowboys reportedly turned down four teams interested in acquiring Jenkins in the final year of his rookie contract.
