Jerry Hairston Jr. had a big night at the plate on Saturday against the Mariners, going 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBI in an 8-3 Dodgers victory.
Hairston blasted a three-run homer off Jason Vargas in the first inning, then later added a pair of RBI doubles. He's provided a spark at second base in place of the injured Mark Ellis, now hitting .366 with 15 RBI in just 101 at-bats. While Hairston may not be a great long-term option, he's worth a look at the middle infield spot in deeper fantasy formats while his playing time is up.
