Texans' Schaub declares himself 100 percent
Matt Schaub - QB - Houston Texans
June 9, 2012 - 1:55 PM ET

Though Matt Schaub (Lisfranc surgery) is sitting out OTAs, he declared himself 100 percent healthy and "ready to go" six weeks ahead of training camp.

"I'm ready to go," said Schaub, who missed all ten Texans OTAs and will also sit out the club's June minicamp. Coach Gary Kubiak explained that Schaub could have been practicing, but the Texans held him out as a precautionary measure. Schaub's fantasy appeal will be limited in the NFL's most run-heavy offense, but the injury won't be a big concern. He'll be a mid-range QB2.
