Steele nabs first top 10 of 2013 at WMPO
Feb. 3, 2013 - 6:05 PM ET

Brendan Steele spun a 4-under-par 33-34=68 in the final round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open to earn his first top 10 of the season at 18-under 266.

Steele started off hot, erasing a bogey on the second with an eagle-birdie run on the third and fourth holes. He would then go quite, settling for par on his next 12 holes before sneaking into the top 10 with birdies on his final two holes. While he hadn't earned a top 25 before this week, he was trending up headed into TPC Scottsdale. He will not play Pebble Beach.
