According to the Denver Post, the "expectation" at Broncos headquarters is that third-round pick Ronnie Hillman will be an immediate contributor in Denver's offense.
The 67th overall pick, Hillman reportedly impressed as a pass catcher in OTA workouts, and it sounds like he's already No. 2 on the projected depth chart, behind Willis McGahee. While we weren't smitten with Hillman's game coming out of San Diego State, he could be headed for a significant role in what will be a much more pass-heavy Broncos offense. McGahee doesn't play in the passing game, and the Broncos soured on Knowshon Moreno long ago.
