Andy Pettitte breezed by the Royals in Wednesday's 8-3 win, allowing just two runs on seven hits in seven innings of work.
Pettitte struck out seven and walked just one in improving to 2-1 in three starts since rejoining the Yankees rotation. He's gone at least 6 1/3 innings every time out, and owns a 2.53 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 19/5 K/BB ratio through 21 1/3 innings. It appears his comeback is going to work out just fine. He'll get the Angels in Anaheim on Tuesday.
