Eric Hosmer has three-hit night in loss

Eric Hosmer went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Yankees.
He also stole a base. Two of the hits were infield singles, but we doubt the .191/.260/.333 hitting Hosmer is keeping count. The multi-hit night was just Hosmer's third in 19 May starts. It's a nice start, but one good night does not a slump end. Hosmer and the Royals will get hard-throwing Orioles righty Jason Hammel on Friday. Lefties are hitting just .219 off Hammel this season.
