Geovany Soto DL-bound with meniscus tear

Geovany Soto is expected be placed on the disabled list following Friday's game after an MRI revealed a slight tear in his left meniscus.
He'll need arthroscopic surgery, which will sideline him for around three weeks. Welington Castillo will be the Cubs' starter behind the dish while Soto is out, and they'll need to call someone up to serve as the backup. Steve Clevenger (oblique) will likely beat Soto back and could usurp the starting job from Castillo.
