Jose Bautista continued his recent power barrage Saturday against the Twins, blasting his eighth home run of the season in the Blue Jays' 2-1 victory.
Bautista finished the night 2-for-4, with his solo shot off P.J. Walters in the sixth inning providing the difference in the game for Toronto. He now has three homers in his last two starts, and has raised his average to .197. He's taking much better swings as of late and appears to be breaking out of his early season funk. Don't be surprised if he goes nuts for a couple weeks.
