Juan Rivera (hammy) could miss two months
Juan Rivera - OF - Los Angeles Dodgers
May 12, 2012 - 1:20 AM ET

Juan Rivera could miss two months with a ruptured left hamstring tendon.

The best-case scenario is that Rivera will be able to return shortly after he's reevaluated in two weeks, but surgery could sideline him for 6-8 weeks. Scott Van Slyke was called up to replace him on the active roster, but Bobby Abreu and Tony Gwynn, Jr. figure to see most of the playing time in left field.
