Report: Red Sox acquire Podsednik from Phils

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, the Red Sox have acquired outfielder Scott Podsednik from the Phillies.
The Phillies will get cash considerations in return and Podsednik is expected to report to Triple-A Pawtucket. With the Red Sox struggling for depth in the outfield, this move makes a lot of sense. If he receives regular playing time, he may also be a cheap source of speed in all fantasy leagues.
