Justin Hicks posted a 5-under-par 36-31=66 at Torrey Pines South in his opening round of the Farmers Insurance Open.
Hicks opened the year with a T15 on Oahu, and then chased it with a T37 at the Humana, so he's doing his part to climb the ladder in the reshuffle. Today he hit 13 greens in regulation and circled seven birdies, including five on his final six holes. Interestingly, his longest conversion of the day was a par save from 13'1" at the first. He signed his card sitting two strokes adrift of the clubhouse lead.
