Mariano Rivera's agent, Fernando Cuza, told George A. King III of the New York Post that his client "ran into complications" during his doctor visit on Monday.

"We ran into complications," said Cuza. "I am referring to Dr. Ahmad and [Yankees general manager] Brian Cashman for further information." Rivera, who was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his right knee last week, was expected to meet with Yankees physician Dr. Chris Ahmad, knee specialist Dr. Russell Warren and Mets' team doctor David Altchek. The all-time saves leader has already declared that the injury will not end his career.
