Seahawks agreed to terms with third-round QB Russell Wilson and seven other members of their ten-man rookie draft-pick class.
Seattle's only rookies yet to sign are fourth-rounders Robert Turbin and Jaye Howard. Wilson will compete for the Seahawks' backup job immediately, and could make pricey Tarvaris Jackson expendable with a big camp. Wilson's playmaking ability and instinctive style give him a chance to overcome height concerns. He is a top-notch athlete, has an over-top delivery that allows Wilson to "throw taller" than his 5-foot-11 stature, and powers the ball with plenty of zip.
