ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on NFL Live Monday that the Bengals and Jets have expressed interest in free agent Braylon Edwards.
We knew about the Jets' interest; they've made it public. The Bengals' interest is new, though, and makes plenty of sense at an unsettled position in Cincinnati. While the Bengals used draft picks on Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones, Edwards could give them a field-stretching veteran to book end A.J. Green. Edwards' knee is the biggest issue. He underwent surgery late last season, and was still believed to be in rehab mode early this spring.
